Indian Society of Systems for Science and Engineering (ISSE) is a professional body for interdisciplinary collaboration of systems science and engineering under ISRO. In Tagore Engineering College 107 faculty members have enrolled for life membership in ISSE. Our Principal Dr.S.Lakshmi handed over the membership forms to Mr.V.Ranganathan, Deputy Director, SPP, SDSC-SHAR, ISRO in the presence of Dr.S.Selvakumar, Scientist F, SDSC-SHAR, ISRO on 23.01.2018.
17th ISTE Engineering Students’ Convention
The 17th ISTE Engineering Students’ Convention was held at Tagore Engineering College, Chennai on 10-4-2018. In this convention, over 700 student participants all over Tamil Nadu had participated in various technical events like paper presentation, technical quiz, circuit debugging programming and project expo. In this convention, 99 students are presented with Best ISTE Student Award, three colleges with ISTE Best Student Chapter Award and two colleges with ISTE Best Chapter awards.
