Final Year and Third Year ECE Students Participating in the PALS Faculty–Student Development Programme (FSDP) on “Current Technology Trends and Emerging Industry Opportunities for Future Engineers” on 22–24 July 2026. Enhanced students’ awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, career opportunities, and industry-relevant skills.
Alumni Talk on “Cracking the Global Code: Skills and Pathways to Top Multinational Companies” was organized by the Department of ECE on 29.07.2026 at the Embedded Laboratory, with Mr. Arul David Palaniappan, Software Engineering Specialist, Rocket Software, as the resource person. Students gained insights into core competency requirements, targeted interview preparation strategies, and global career networking opportunities.
The Department of ECE conducted a Guest Lecture on 29.07.2026 "AI in Software Development – Guidance for Aspiring Developers" by Mr. Arul David Palaniappan, Software Engineering Specialist, Rocket Software, equipping students with practical knowledge of AI-driven software development, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering successfully organized on 28.07.2026 an Alumni Talk on "A Future-Ready Career Pathway: Bridging ECE Skills with Industry Demands". The session was delivered by Mr. M. Vignesh M., Quality Assurance Engineer, Anora Instrumentation Pvt. Ltd., who shared valuable insights on industry expectations, career opportunities, resume building, inspiring students to become future-ready professionals.

This achievement reflects their technical knowledge, skills, and dedication, bringing pride to the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
On 22.06.2026, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, under the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in IoT, successfully inaugurated the Training Cum Internship Programme on Internet of Things (IoT). The programme provides hands-on IoT training, real-time project experience, certification, and expert mentorship to develop students’ industry-ready skills.
Final Year ECE students Ms. Nithya Shree T, Ms. Nivethidha S, and Ms. Tharani S J successfully completed their internship at QSpiders, Chennai, from 01 June 2026 to 30 June 2026. The internship provided them with valuable practical knowledge and hands-on experience in programming, software testing, aptitude training, technical skill development, and corporate placement preparation
Final Year ECE students, Mr. Rathik R and Ms. Lakshmi J, successfully completed their Industrial Internship at NLC India Limited, Neyveli, from 15 June 2026 to 27 June 2026. The internship provided them with valuable practical knowledge and hands-on experience in thermal power generation, mining operations, industrial safety practices

Mohan Raj K, Kamesh J, and Sachin S participated in Chakravyuha’26 at Madras Institute of Technology, Chromepet, and attended the workshop “Inside Quantum Computers: Hardware Foundations and Applications” on February 28th, 2026, gaining valuable insights into quantum computing hardware and applications
On 31.01.2026 TEC Ideathon 2026 was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) and Institute Innovation Council (IIC) of Tagore Engineering College. Team HERNOVA – Nivethidha S, Nithya Shree T, Gayatri M, and Tejashree G (Third Year) won 1st Prize. Their innovation and teamwork led to this proud achievement
