Dr. R.Beulah Jayakumari, M.E(CSE), Ph.D(CSE) is an academician with 18 years of experience and currently working as Professor and Head in the Department of Information Technology at Tagore Engineering College. She has great aspire in providing inspiration to students and staff thus taking the goals of the department and college to a greater heights. She fosters a culture of research and innovation among the students. Leads the team of staffs with greater integrity to provide disciplined teaching techniques and nurture continuous improvement.
She received her doctorate in 2016 from Anna University, Chennai. Se has been with Tagore Engineering College since 2019. She has more than 14 years of research experience in Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Mining, Wireless Sensor Network, Mobile Adhoc Network and digital innovations with a specific focus on Design thinking and critical problem-solving.
She has published over 20+ research referred papers and Scopus Indexed in referred international/national journals; has been principal investigator of 1 sponsored research projects; and received grants from Tamilnadu State Council for Science and Technology, Centre for Faculty Development- Anna university and holds 3 Patents. Organized over 5+ conferences, 30+ seminars and workshops in collaboration with many industries and top universities. She has conducted a large number of Student Development Programs. She is a Life member of a number of professional bodies including, Indian Society for Technical Education and IAENG. She has delivered many invited/key notes talks at International & National Conferences/ Workshops/Seminars and faculty development programs.
She also engages in society outreach programs and community engagements through various forums along with students and staffs thus providing a sense of community across the department.
