Tagore Incubation Centre is one of the few technology incubators in Tamil Nadu recognized by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India (File No. : 17(2)/MSMEINNOVATIVE/PMAC/2021-22).
The incubator is funded by the ministry of MSME with Rs 15 Lacs per project to support concept validation and prototype creation for ideas being worked upon by the TAGORE startup students. Once a working prototype is created, it will be supported by the TAGORE Incubation Centre to facilitate industry collaboration and government support to seek partnerships and funding for commercialization of the prototype and take it to market.
The TAGORE Incubation Centre is spread over combined area of 1500sq ft. and will reach out to and embrace a wider ecosystem of innovators to foster a vibrant spirit of entrepreneurship. The incubator also provides
