As per the present standards the minimum marks applicable for HSC Academic and Vocational students is an aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry and Vocational subjects put together should be.

Diploma Holders seeking an admission to B.E/B.Tech courses should have the following minimum aggregate in the 5th & 6th semesters. For Diploma holders (Second year admission) there will be no qualifying age limit.

Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination in not more than 2 appearances and only the first improvement will be considered. The age limit for the candidates other than SC/ST is 21 years at the time of admission (1st July of the respective academic year).
Foreign students seeking admission to B.E/B.Tech courses should have passed the equivalent of the +2 examination, in their respective country. Anna University has to approve this examination and issue an eligibility certificate endorsing the same.
The college is offering 7 courses in the Under Graduate (UG) level and 6 courses in the Post Graduate (PG) level. The courses offered and approved intake in each course is given below. All the courses are affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and Approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the HSC (+2) examination conducted by the state and through counselling (TNEA) conducted by Anna University Chennai, selected candidates are allotted to various colleges for admission. Candidates may also appear directly for admission to the College under Management Quota. Admission forms may be obtained from the college office.
Eligibility : + 2 or equivalent, as per norms and guidelines of the Government of Tamil Nadu/Anna University and AICTE for UG courses.
